Passage of Measure K will:
Repair deteriorating electrical, gas lines, plumbing, leaky roofs, and restrooms
Improve school safety for fire, security, emergency communications, and security cameras
Remove asbestos, lead paint, and mold if needed
Replace failing septic tanks, and deteriorating HVAC systems
Provide local children access to a well-rounded education in adequate classrooms and improve early childhood education classrooms
Help recruit and retain teachers
Taxpayer protections are REQUIRED:
ALL funds STAY LOCAL.
The State CANNOT take this funding away.
Citizens’ Oversight and mandatory independent audits ensure proper spending.
NO funds are allowed for administrators’ salaries.
